Product Description
Presentation
This Nimrod battery is a LiPo type consisting of 3 cells that make up a compact unit. It has a voltage of 11.1V and a capacity of 1800mAh. The battery technology allows for very small dimensions of the entire assembly, making it ideal for small battery spaces. The 65C discharge rate of the battery allows for optimal current supply for the replica's current requirements.
The battery insulations are well made, and the cables and connectors are of high quality. This battery is equipped with a small Tamiya connector.
WARNING:
- Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries can be extremely dangerous.
- The user must take all necessary precautions for: potential fire, bodily harm, and damage to property.
- If used improperly, damaged, or with manufacturing defects, LiPo batteries can explode, catch fire, emit smoke, and pose risks of intoxication.
- By purchasing this type of battery, the user assumes responsibility for any risks associated with LiPo batteries.
- LiPo batteries are not toys and should not be left within reach of children as they can pose a real health hazard.
- LiPo batteries should not be thrown into fire, placed in an oven, or microwave as they can explode.
- LiPo batteries contain/may emit electrolytes, toxic vapors, and other harmful chemicals. Handle these batteries with care and avoid any contact with skin, eyes, or other parts of the body. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
- Do not attempt to charge mechanically or chemically damaged batteries.
Actions Leading to Battery Damage
- Charging LiPo batteries with unbalanced chargers and without automatic charging cutoff.
- Connecting in series or parallel a cell or another battery, even if they appear similar.
- Exceeding maximum and minimum operating voltages.
- A decrease or increase in temperature outside the allowed limits.
- Too high charging current.
- Short-circuiting the battery terminals.
- Exposing the battery to mechanical shocks such as dropping, hitting, bending, cutting, twisting, deforming, or puncturing.
- Contact with liquids.
- Improvising an improper charging installation.
- Using improper, makeshift charging cables.
General Information
- LiPo batteries are composed of cells.
- Parameters of this type of batteries are: Voltage measured in Volts (V), Capacity measured in milliampere-hours (mAh), and instantaneous discharge (C).
- Each LiPo battery has a power connector and a charging connector.
- The power connector is used to power the device it is intended for.
- The charging connector is solely used for charging the battery. (in some cases, charging is done through both the power and charging connectors)
- The battery is charged using the charging connector, and some advanced chargers may require connecting the power connector as well.
- LiPo batteries are charged with special chargers for LiPo batteries that have voltage balancing function for each cell and automatic charging cutoff.
- Each LiPo battery has a maximum charging rate of 1.05X of the battery capacity, which should not be exceeded during charging.
- Each cell has a maximum voltage of 4.2V and a minimum voltage of 2.7V.
- During operation or charging, the battery temperature should not drop below 0'C or rise above 50'C.
- For long-term battery storage, the battery capacity should be between 15% and 25% of the maximum value.
NRG cannot guarantee that you have used correct methods for operating and have followed the charging, discharging, or storing conditions of LiPo batteries. Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse warranty replacement for incorrectly used batteries (that violate the instructions and warnings above), and we are not responsible for material damages, moral damages, or loss of human lives.
