Product Description

Presentation

This Nimrod battery is a LiPo type and is composed of 2 cells forming a compact assembly. It has a voltage of 7.4V and a capacity of 1800mAh. The battery technology allows for very small dimensions of the entire assembly, thus fitting in spaces intended for very small batteries. The 65C discharge rate of the battery allows for an optimal current supply for the replica's current needs.

The insulations of the battery are well made and the cables and connectors are of high quality. This battery is equipped with a small Tamiya plug.

ATTENTION:

  • Lithium ion Polymer (LiPo) batteries can be extremely dangerous.
  • The user must take all precautions for: a potential fire, bodily harm, and damage to property.
  • In case of misuse, damage, or manufacturing defects, LiPo batteries can lead to explosions, fire, smoke, and risk of poisoning.
  • By purchasing this type of battery, the user assumes responsibility for any risks associated with LiPo batteries.
  • LiPo batteries are not toys and should not be left within reach of children as they can pose a real danger to their health.
  • LiPo batteries should not be thrown into fire, placed in an oven, or microwave oven as they can explode.
  • LiPo batteries contain/emits electrolytes, toxic vapors, and other harmful chemicals. Handle these batteries with care and avoid any contact with the skin, eyes, or other parts of the body. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
  • Do not attempt to charge mechanically or chemically damaged batteries.

Actions leading to the deterioration of the battery

  • Charging LiPo batteries with an unbalanced charger and without automatic charging shut-off.
  • Connecting in series or in parallel a cell or another battery even if they appear similar.
  • Exceeding maximum and minimum operating voltages.
  • A decrease or increase in temperature outside the permissible limits.
  • Too high charging current.
  • Short circuiting the battery terminals.
  • Exposing the battery to mechanical shocks such as: dropping, hitting, bending, cutting, twisting, deforming, or drilling.
  • Contact with liquids.
  • Improvise an improper charging installation.
  • Using improper, improvised charging cables.

General Information

  • LiPo batteries are made up of cells.
  • The parameters of these batteries are: Voltage measured in Volts (V), Capacity measured in milliamperes (mAh), and instantaneous discharge (C).
  • Each LiPo battery has a power plug and a charging plug connected.
  • The power plug is used to power the device intended for power supply.
  • The charging plug is solely used for charging the battery. (in some cases, charging is done through both the power plug and the charging plug).
  • Charging the battery is done using the charging plug, and for some advanced chargers, connecting the power plug is necessary.
  • LiPo batteries are charged with special chargers for LiPo batteries that have the function of balancing the voltage of each cell and automatic charging shut-off.
  • Each LiPo battery has a maximum charging rate of 1.05X the battery's capacity, which should not be exceeded during charging.
  • Each cell has a maximum voltage of 4.2V and a minimum voltage of 2.7V.
  • During operation or charging, the battery temperature should not fall below 0°C or exceed 50°C.
  • For long-term storage, the battery's capacity should be between 15 and 25% of the maximum value.

NRG cannot guarantee that you have used correct methods of operation and have followed the charging, discharging, or storage conditions of LiPo batteries. Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse replacement, as a warranty, of incorrectly used batteries (violating the instructions and warnings above), and we are not responsible for material or moral damages or loss of human lives.
