An important detail in the military field and beyond is represented by footwear. The quality of footwear directly influences the performance of the military personnel. This aspect can also be relevant in actions meant to replicate military actions, such as long walks on rough roads or even airsoft or paintball games. Often, these games take place in locations that are not exactly safe; former military units, institutions, or various abandoned buildings full of dangers at every step.

The Mil-Tec boots offer the necessary protection regardless of the situation. Even if the environmental temperature is high or low, these boots manage to maintain the comfort of the lower limbs.

Exterior

The upper part is made of carefully processed genuine leather. The front part is cut from a single piece of leather in order to avoid seams and joints that often give in after use. The lateral surfaces of the boot and the tongue are made of quality textile material. It is a 1200 den woven nylon material. This material is included in the design to promote the evacuation of excessive heat generated inside the boots. The tongue is thick to absorb any mechanical shocks and is joined with the lateral sections to prevent water and cold air infiltration. The sole is made of soft rubber and is vulcanized to the upper part.

Interior

One of the important aspects of this model of boots is the insulation material used inside, namely Thinsulate. A material specially designed to maintain an optimal temperature regardless of the weather conditions. The insoles can be removed for cleaning. They are made of soft foam, enhancing the comfort of the foot sole. There are plastic reinforcements in the front part and heel area of the boots to prevent strong shocks that could affect the toes and heel.

Functionality

Each boot secures on the foot with a lace and a side plastic zipper branded YKK. The boots have 9 rows of lace holes, the first 5 rows are reinforced with metal eyelets, and the last 4 rows have movable rings for easy tightening of the lace. The zipper is located on the inside of the boots, and to prevent water and cold air from entering inside, there is a leather section covering the zipper. At the top of the zipper, there is a leather section with Velcro for zipper protection.

The size of the boots according to the US measurement unit is No. 11, and according to the EU measurement unit is No. 44.
