Mil-Tec boots with zipper Brown No. 42

An important detail in the military field and beyond is footwear. The quality of the footwear directly influences the performance of the military personnel. This aspect can also be valid for actions aimed at imitating military actions, such as long walks on rough roads or, why not, airsoft or paintball games. Often, these games take place in locations that are not exactly safe: former military units, institutions, or all sorts of abandoned buildings full of dangers at every step.

Mil-Tec boots offer the necessary protection regardless of the situation. Even if the environmental temperature is high or low, these boots manage to maintain the comfort of the lower limbs.

Exterior

The upper part is made of carefully processed natural leather. The front part is cut from a single piece of leather to avoid seams and joints that often weaken after use. The sides of the boot and the tongue are made of quality textile material. It is a 1200 denier woven nylon. This material is included in the design to facilitate the evacuation of excessive heat generated inside the boots. The tongue is thick to absorb any mechanical shocks and is connected to the side sections to prevent water and cold air infiltration. The sole is made of soft rubber and is vulcanized to the upper part.

Interior

One of the important aspects of this boot model is the insulation material used inside, namely Thinsulate. A material designed to maintain an optimal temperature regardless of the weather conditions. The insoles can be removed for cleaning. They are made of soft foam, improving the comfort of the foot sole. In the front part of the boots and in the heel area, there are plastic reinforcements to prevent strong shocks that can affect the toes and heels.

Functionality

Each boot is secured on the foot with the help of laces and a side plastic zipper from the YKK brand. The boots have 9 rows of lace holes, out of which the first 5 rows are reinforced with metal eyelets and the last 4 rows with movable rings for easy tightening of the laces. The zipper is located on the inside of the boots, and to prevent water and cold air from entering inside, there is a leather section covering the zipper. At the top of the zipper, there is a leather section with Velcro for zipper protection.

The size of the boots according to the US measurement unit is No. 9, and according to the EU measurement unit is No. 42.
