An important detail in the military field and beyond is footwear. The quality of footwear directly influences the performance of the military person. This aspect can also be valid in the case of actions meant to replicate military actions, such as long walks on rough roads, or why not, airsoft or paintball games. Often these games take place in not very safe locations; former military units, institutions, or various abandoned buildings full of dangers at every corner.

Mil-Tec boots offer the necessary protection regardless of the situation. Even if the temperature of the environment is high or low, these boots manage to maintain the comfort of the lower limbs.

Exterior

The upper part is made of carefully processed natural leather. The front part is cut from a single piece of leather to avoid seams and joints that often weaken after use. The side surfaces of the boot and the tongue are made of quality textile material. It is woven nylon of 1200 denier. This material is included in the design to promote the evacuation of excessive heat generated inside the boots. The tongue is thick to absorb any mechanical shocks and is attached to the side sections to prevent water and cold air infiltration. The sole is made of soft rubber and is vulcanized to the upper part.

Interior

One of the important aspects of this boot model is the insulation material used inside, namely Thinsulate. A material designed specifically to maintain an optimal temperature regardless of weather conditions. The insoles can be removed for cleaning. They are made of soft foam, improving the comfort of the sole of the foot. In the front part of the boots and in the heel area, there are plastic reinforcements to prevent strong shocks that can affect the toes and heels.

Functionality

Each boot is secured on the foot with a lace as well as a side plastic zipper branded YKK. The boots have 9 rows of lace holes, among which the first 5 rows are reinforced with metal eyelets and 4 rows have a movable ring for easy tightening of the lace. The zipper is located on the inside of the boots, and to prevent water and cold air infiltration inside, there is a leather section covering the zipper. At the top of the zipper, there is a leather section with velcro for zipper protection.

The size of the boot according to the US measurement unit is No. 8 and according to the EU measurement unit is No. 41.
