The M-Tac Norman fleece jacket is suitable for cold weather thanks to the WindBlock material and Softshell inserts. Made of 100% polyester. The WindBlock membrane grid structure is designed for low and very low temperatures so that 80% of body heat is reflected from the surface towards the interior, and only 20% (excessive heat during active actions at low temperatures) exits the membrane grid. Most modern fabrics with surface-sprayed polyurethane membrane are not designed for extremely low temperatures, as polyurethane hardens at low temperatures, leading to the overall stiffening of the fabric. The consequence of this is the characteristic "crackling" when moving. The WindBlock thermal membrane fabric does not use polyurethane spray to protect the membrane, but rather a dense, structured layer of polyester (inside and outside of the membrane) that protects the membrane from the effects of low temperatures, abrasion (both inside and outside), and creates an additional warm Windblock air layer from the back to the outside.
