The M-Tac Norman fleece jacket is suitable for cold weather due to the WindBlock material and Softshell inserts. Made of 100% polyester. The WindBlock membrane grid structure is designed for low and very low temperature conditions so that 80% of body heat is reflected from the surface inside and only 20% (excess heat during active actions at low temperatures) leaves the membrane grid. Most modern fabrics with surface sprayed polyurethane membrane are not designed for extremely low temperatures, as polyurethane hardens at low temperatures, leading to overall fabric stiffening. The consequence of this is the characteristic "crunch" when you move. The WindBlock thermomembrane fabric does not use polyurethane spraying to protect the membrane, but rather a dense pile, structured in polyester (inside and outside the membrane), which protects the membrane from the effects of low temperatures, abrasion (both inside and outside) and creates an additional warming Windblock layer from the back outwards.
