Description

The HR1 Pro lantern offered by Klarus is essentially a headlamp with multiple lighting options. The 3 bulbs and various lighting modes will help you accomplish your plan. The design of this lantern makes it extremely lightweight, and the elastic band is comfortable. The separation of the power source from the light panel reduces the weight supported on the forehead, further enhancing comfort.

Functions and Modes

There are 3 bulbs: one with a focused beam, one with diffused light, and one low-intensity red bulb. The focused beam bulb offers 3 lighting modes: high 400 lm, medium 150 lm, low 30 lm. The diffused light bulb does not have a specified light output but is between 30 and 50 lm. The red light has an intensity of 5 lm. One of the lighting modes allows for the simultaneous use of the focused beam bulb and the diffused light bulb.

Using the LB12 battery, we have a runtime of 2.5h at the highest intensity, 6.5h on medium, 19.5h on low, 26h on red, 19.5h on SOS, and 20h on beacon.

To operate the lantern more easily, the manufacturer has provided a 2-button control. The main button is for on/off and switching between functions, and there is another button that switches between the multiple bulbs of the device.

Construction

The body of the lantern is made of plastic and is moisture-sealed. The level of moisture protection is IPX6. The elastic band is made of nylon and is elastic, soft, and adjustable in diameter.

Package

The lantern is delivered with a USB/USB-C charging cable, a battery holder that attaches to the elastic band, and a rechargeable Li-ion LB12 1200mAh battery. The device can also operate with AAA batteries that can be fixed inside the battery holder instead of the rechargeable battery.
