Description

The A1 flashlight offered by Klarus is a budget-friendly option for those who do not want to compromise on product quality. The manufacturer managed to reduce the cost of this flashlight by limiting the number of functions to the basics and using a classic on/off button design.

Features and Modes

There are 4 lighting modes: High-1300 lm, Medium 200 lm, Low-30 lm, and Strobe 1000 lm. Using a 18650 2000mAh battery, the flashlight can provide a runtime of 3.3h on high, 11h on medium, 72 hours on low, and 6.6h on strobe.

To make operating the flashlight easier, the manufacturer has equipped it with 2 buttons. The main one is for on/off and switching between modes, while the smaller button directly activates the strobe mode.

We can always know the battery voltage level with the help of the 4 side LEDs that signal 100%/75%/50%/25%.

The flashlight's electronic circuit allows for charging the built-in battery up to 1A. Charging is done using the hidden USB-C port located under the front part of the flashlight. To access it, the top part needs to be unscrewed.

Construction

The flashlight's body is made of 6061-T6 aluminum and is covered with a textured surface for better grip. The manufacturer guarantees moisture protection in accordance with IPX6 standards.
