Overview
The Bolt company has been on the market since 2011 and is recognized for its AEG replicas, equipped with a very strong recoil. Some players consider this impossible to achieve in an electric weapon. However, Tomy Lee, the founder of Bolt, has managed to provide realism enthusiasts with a superb replica both in sensation and finish.
Exterior of the replica
The Bolt DD MK18 MOD2 can easily be described as a replica of one of the most iconic M4 weapons of our time. The front rail system, Daniel Defence type, is free-floating and will allow you to accessorize the replica as you wish; grips, flashlights, lasers, grenade launchers, etc. It's up to you.
On the upper part of the body, there is another standard rail where you can mount an advanced sighting system. The replica is also equipped with a classic flip-up sighting system.
Before stepping onto the playing field, you should consider that this is a replica made entirely of metal and that you must be prepared to counter the unexpectedly strong recoil for an electric replica. The obvious M4 platform will allow you to easily adapt to commands, whether it's your first encounter or you've experienced this platform before.
The stock of the replica is adjustable, so you can have the most comfortable experience. The space for the battery is relatively limited, located behind the stock.
To transport the replica worry-free, you can use the ambidextrous sling system placed above the grip.
Interior of the replica
Inside, there is nothing too unusual; a reinforced v2 gearbox, quite good for upgrades according to some, cylinder head, piston head, and full CNC aluminum piston, nozzle with an o-ring, high torque motor and... oh yes... a B.R.S.S. recoil system that makes the gun jump out of your hand!
It’s worth mentioning a few obvious things, adjustable hop-up system, LiPo ready, and a quite impressive range. The firing power is around 110-115 m/s, so we recommend using 0.23g or 0.25g BBs.
Power Supply
The package includes a HiCap magazine of 300 BBs, made of metal, and that's about it. We strongly recommend that with the purchase of the replica, you also consider a 7.4V 1000-1200 crane LiPo battery or even an 11.1V but do not exceed 15C. For optimal performance, it would be best to use the highest quality BBs and do not even think about reusing them. It’s not good for the replica or your wallet.
