Overview

KRYTAC is a relatively new player in the market, producing high-quality AEG replicas. The somewhat short time in the market indicates that this company indeed offers products that satisfy a large part of the needs of today's airsoft players. What is truly interesting is that despite its young age, KRYTAC is not shying away from innovation, already launching an improved series of replicas. Even if not by much, any improvement is still an improvement and should be noted and appreciated.

Exterior of the Replica

This model is called the Trident SPR MK2 and is designed for both close-quarters combat and open spaces. The total length of the replica with the stock extended is 945 mm, placing it in the medium to long category. It is made from aluminum alloys, significantly reducing weight and greatly improving maneuverability. The weight of the replica is 2500. The front system is of the M-Lok type, so it will not unnecessarily obstruct you with rails when not needed. There is a standard rail along the entire top of the replica where classic sights or an advanced sighting system can be mounted. The body of the replica represents the interesting part of this version due to modern elements aimed at enhancing both the aesthetic and practical enjoyment of owning and operating such a replica. Above the grip, there is an ambidextrous attachment system for the sling. The grip features a new design aimed at improving hold. The fire selector is also ambidextrous, and that's about it for left-handed users. The mag catch is on the right side. The stock of the replica features a unique, elegant design that allows for the storage of a crane-type battery. The stock is adjustable with 6 positions.

Interior of the Replica

The interesting part is the gearbox, in which many resources have been invested to provide a high-quality final product. The alloy used for the housing is very durable, eliminating issues caused by strong springs. The design of the gearbox is relatively standard, allowing for the replacement of most internal components at will. It could not be said that we stepped into the next century unless the replica is equipped with an easily replaceable spring. The manufacturer has equipped the replica with a simple mosfet to eliminate contact burning that occurs when using LiPo batteries and the high-power motor with which the replica is equipped. The projectile speed is around 115 - 120 m/s measured with 0.20g BBs. The inner barrel has a diameter of 6.05mm, and the hop-up chamber allows for fine adjustment of the hop-up adjustment, thanks to the markings on the adjustment wheel.

Power Supply

The replica is delivered with a BB magazine, a set of sights, and a small M-LOK rail. You will need to also look for a battery and a charger for this battery when purchasing it. The replica can operate with both 8.4V and 9.6V NiMH batteries as well as 7.4V LiPo. We recommend using BBs with a weight of 0.25g. Do not reuse BBs and do not use low-quality BBs as it may damage the replica.
