Product Description
Presentation
We are pleased to introduce the latest generation of mainstream replicas from G&G. It can be observed that the base platform is the well-known M4; however, as the Romanian saying goes, "it looks similar but does not sprout." The manufacturer has equipped this platform with the latest innovations in rail systems and accessories, as well as a modern design aimed at providing better maneuverability. An even greater achievement of this platform is the electronic system of the replica, benefiting from the advantages of a mosfet that is hard to access for those on a tight budget.
Exterior of the replica
The replica in question is called GC16 SR L. As mentioned, it belongs to the mainstream category of replicas manufactured by G&G, but it benefits from the latest innovations and technologies. The body is made from an aluminum alloy, as is the front rail system. The only ABS plastic elements are the grip and the stock of the replica. The front system allows for accessorization through the KeyMod system. This system maintains a low profile when no accessories are mounted. The mounting of the rails is as simple and efficient as possible. The body of the replica features a new design intended to provide a pleasant and modern appearance as well as significantly improved grip. It is equipped with several ambidextrous elements, allowing both right-handed and left-handed users to utilize the replica. The fire selector is ambidextrous, as is the magazine release button and the charging lever. The design of the grip, like the body, is meant to provide a firm hold. The stock retains the SOPMOD element, namely the two side compartments where battery cells can be stored, but be careful, they are slightly smaller in size, and inserting a crane battery may present difficulties. Obviously, the stock is adjustable with 6 positions, equipped with a spare compartment, and the cover rotates to provide access to the internal space. To open it, the button on the top must be pressed.
For securing the replica, there is an ambidextrous ring above the grip for attaching a single-point sling.
Interior of the replica
G&G has equipped this replica with the new generation, v2 gearbox, fully electronic. The trigger assembly is replaced with an electronic unit equipped with micro-switches, designed to provide significantly improved reliability compared to traditional carbon brushes. At the rear, there is a powerful mosfet capable of easily supporting 11.1V LiPo. Besides the significantly improved reliability, the advanced electronic system will contribute to lower battery consumption, a much quicker trigger response, and proper management of internal components, preventing premature wear. The cherry on top is the ability to implement a 3-round burst function instead of the auto selection. The modification is done simply by holding the semi mode of the trigger for 12 seconds. Internal components such as gears, piston, spring, and other parts are standard. Each part that is to be replaced must be carefully checked for compatibility.
The hop-up chamber is made of plastic, and the hop-up adjustment is adjustable. The speed of the replica is 100-105 meters per second, measured with 0.20g BBs. The hop-up adjustment is located inside the ejection port. To access it, the charging lever must be activated.
Power Supply
The airsoft replica package does not include a battery or a battery charger. It is recommended to use an 11.1V 1000mAh crane or crane x3 battery. To access this battery storage space, a single button must be pressed. It is not recommended to use a battery larger than 11.1V as it may damage the airsoft replica. It is recommended to use quality BBs weighing 0.25g for optimal results. We advise against reusing BBs or using low-quality BBs as this may damage the replica.
