Product Description
Overview
Walther PPS, or fully Police Pistol Slim. This pistol was designed by the German company Carl Walther SmbH Sportwaffen to provide law enforcement and others with a subcompact, easily transportable, and user-friendly pistol. It was first presented to the public in 2007 at the IWA & Outdoor Classics event. It is made from composite plastic materials, reducing weight and improving overall durability. The Walther PPS incorporates technologies from the most successful Walther platforms such as the PPK, P99, and others.
Exterior of the Replica
The presented airsoft replica is manufactured under license by Umarex. This toy successfully mimics the real weapon. The slide is made of quality metal while the lower part is made of durable ABS plastic. Its compact shape and small dimensions make this airsoft replica very easy to transport and use. The magazine of this airsoft pistol does not exactly replicate the magazine of the real weapon, due to the CO2 BB feeding system also located in the grip of the replica. On the left side, there is the slide catch, and the mag release is located on the bottom of the trigger guard and is ambidextrous.
Interior of the Replica
This airsoft replica is equipped with a blowback system. Due to the metal slide and CO2 operation, the felt recoil is quite strong. The internal components are of high quality, allowing for good reliability over time. The airsoft replica does not come with an adjustable hop-up system. Using 0.20g BBs, the pistol can operate at a velocity of approximately 130-135 m/s.
Power Source
This airsoft replica operates on CO2. The space for the 12g CO2 cartridge is located in the grip of the replica. To access the CO2 reservoir space, it is necessary to remove the cap from the back. Once the CO2 cartridge is installed, the cap can be replaced and the piercing screw tightened. It is recommended to use quality BBs designed for airsoft and reusing BBs is not advised.
Warning: It is recommended to spray a small amount of silicone oil on the contact seal surface before installing a new CO2 cartridge. It is not recommended to store the CO2 cartridge in the airsoft replica; after each use, even if the cartridge is not empty, it should be removed to protect the seals.
