Product Description
Smith & Wesson 629, a superb pistol dedicated to collectors and beyond. The operating principle is that of a revolver, and CO2 is used as the gas source. The pistol's magazine consists of dummy brass cartridges with plastic tips, each capable of holding one 6mm BB, totaling 6 loaded BBs, making it not exactly ready for action on the playground. Instead, it is recommended for occasional target shooting. The sensation provided by handling this replica is as close as possible to using a real revolver.
Exterior of the replica
The replica is made entirely of metal, except for the grips, which are plastic. The operating mode is double action, meaning that for each pull of the trigger, the hammer is cocked and then released. The pistol is equipped with a safety, which is activated by pulling the release button back. This button also serves for disassembling the cylinder for reloading. The sighting system is adjustable, and the front sight is equipped with luminescent fiber for easier and more precise aiming.
Interior of the replica
The internal mechanism is made entirely of metal, and its design is simplistic. The simplicity of this mechanism provides the reliability typical of revolvers. The pistol does not feature a hop-up system, thus its range will suffer in comparison to other replicas equipped with hop-up. This pistol is powerful, with a velocity of 135-140 meters per second measured with 0.20g BBs, making it very likely to be prohibited for use on most playing fields.
Power Supply
The space for storing the CO2 cartridge is in the grip. With one CO2 cartridge, approximately 100 shots can be fired, making it very economical in terms of consumption. For quick loading of cartridges, a special cartridge adapter included in the package, speedloader, can be used. The package includes 6 metal cartridges, each holding one 6mm BB.
Warning: It is recommended to spray a small amount of silicone oil on the contact seal surface before installing a new CO2 cartridge. It is not recommended to store the CO2 cartridge in the airsoft replica; after each use, even if the cartridge is not empty, it should be removed to protect the seals.
