Brief History

The Taurus pistols are manufactured in Brazil by Forjas Taurus SA. The first models closely copied the Beretta M92 platform but over time, they introduced minor improvements in functionality and reliability. What attracted the public significantly was the lower price compared to original Beretta products and good reliability. A clear difference from the Beretta platforms is the ambidextrous safety, which is no longer located at the top of the slide but has been moved lower to the back of the grip.

Exterior of the Replica

This toy is marketed by Cybergun and replicates the real firearm quite well. The frame is made of metal while the grips are made of ABS plastic. The safety located at the back of the grip also serves as a fire selector. This replica is capable of operating in both semi and full-auto modes. At the front, there is a standard rail that allows for good accessorization. The magazine cover is not exactly like the original, but its design allows for better handling during reloading.

Interior of the Replica

The internal mechanisms are made of metal and are designed to operate on CO2. The cherry on top is the full-auto function. This replica can empty the entire magazine with a single pull of the trigger. It sounds more intimidating than it appears at first glance. The replica is capable of firing BBs at a speed of 100-105 meters per second, measured with 0.20g BBs. The hop-up chamber allows for adjustment of the hop-up adjustment, giving the replica a good effective range.

Power Source

The replica operates with 12g CO2 cartridges stored inside the magazine. One CO2 cartridge can power the entire magazine and will eventually lock the slide. Since it operates on CO2, the replica can be used even when the ambient temperature is low. Caution, not too low. We recommend using only high-quality BBs and not reusing BBs as this may cause the replica to malfunction.
