Product Description
Presentation
Beretta PX4 Storm was introduced in 2004 as a response to the need to modernize existing platforms using the most advanced materials available at that time. The PX4 finds its origins in a well-known model, the Beretta 8000 Cougar. Elements such as the rotating barrel with a locking pin can be observed. The manufacturers aimed to provide the user with a platform that is very easy to operate and maintain while also improving long-term reliability. Due to the plastic materials used for the external components, the weight of the PX4 is quite low. This pistol was manufactured considering the most common calibers of the time; 9x19mm Parabellum, 40 S&W, and 45 ACP, and there are 4 distinct models regarding functionality.
The exterior of the replica
Umarex does a good job of replicating the real firearm, but the operating principle is different. The replica does not feature recoil, although the slide can be pulled back to allow for cocking the hammer. The safety is located on the right side. The slide is made of metal while the lower part of the replica is made of ABS plastic, and at the front of the pistol, there is a covered rail where tactical accessories such as lasers or flashlights can be mounted.
The interior of the replica
The internal mechanism of the replica is made of plastic and metal and operates with manual action. Cocking the hammer and loading BBs is done strictly by pulling the slide back to the locking position. The replica does not feature an adjustable hop-up.
