Product Description
Brief History
The project for the P99 pistol began in 1994, with its first presentation occurring in 1997, the year production started. This model represented a significant leap for the Walther company, following a change in management. The new model was initially used by the German police in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate. From there, the pistol was ordered by many other law enforcement agencies worldwide due to its revolutionary design, extreme maneuverability, and good reliability.
Exterior of the Replica
Compared to the real firearm, this replica manufactured by Umarex is made entirely of plastic, except for certain parts. Its design closely resembles the P99 made by Walther. On the left side, there is a slide catch for releasing the slide. At the back of the slide, there is a red indicator that shows when the replica is cocked.
Interior of the Replica
The internal mechanism of the replica is made of plastic and metal and operates with manual action. Cocking the hammer and loading BBs is done strictly by pulling the slide back to the locked position. The replica does not feature an adjustable hop-up. It is equipped with a system that locks the slide when the BBs are finished. To release the slide, the slide release button must be pressed.
