Umarex Glock 45

Overview

The Glock 45 is a crossover pistol that combines the frame of the Glock 17 with the compact slide of the Glock 19. The serrations on the slide and the enlarged grip denote the typical features of the 5th generation. Umarex holds the Glock license, and the pistols manufactured by the German producer are the only ones marked with the original markings.

Exterior of the Replica

The lower part of the replica is made of nylon and features a texture on the grip area designed to provide improved grip. The upper part or slide is made of aluminum alloy. The serrations on the slide, apart from providing a pleasant appearance, also serve a practical purpose, offering a firm hold when handling the weapon. The sights are the traditional Glock ones, and the safety on the trigger specific to Glock is functional. The RIS rail under the barrel allows for the mounting of optical devices.

Interior of the Replica

The firing mechanisms are made of metal. The hop-up system adjustment is stable over time and provides good effective range. The recoil of the replica is strong, adding a note of authenticity. The BB velocity is approximately 95-100 m/s measured with 0.20g BBs. It is recommended to use quality BBs weighing 0.25g for maximum performance.

Power Source

The Glock 45 operates semi-automatically on green gas. Any stronger gas may seriously damage the internal components of the pistol. Under optimal temperature and operating conditions, the airsoft replica is capable of cycling the entire magazine with one gas charge and locking the slide in the position indicating that the BBs are finished. We recommend using high-quality BBs for optimal performance and do not recommend reusing BBs or using low-quality BBs as it may cause the replica to malfunction.
