Product Description
Short history
Created to replace the well-known 1911, in 1984 it was presented to the decision committee and was ranked 2nd in the favorites list. Due to financial reasons, its adoption was delayed for a few years, until the Naval SEALs requested its introduction into use. A solidly built pistol for heavy use on the battlefield. A useful feature is the ability to disarm the pistol without the risk of accidental discharge by using the special disarm lever.
Exterior of the replica
Manufactured by SIG Sauer, the P226 replica accurately replicates the real gun. It is made almost entirely of quality metal, respecting the functions of the real weapon. An example would be the hammer safety feature. If the airsoft replica is cocked but you no longer want to fire, you can use your thumb to activate the safety button, putting the airsoft replica in a safe state. The pistol is Double action, meaning that when the trigger is pulled, the hammer of the replica is cocked and then released, triggering the firing mechanism. The pistol weighs 920g, which is 44g lighter than the real gun, adding a touch of realism to the airsoft replica.
Internals of the replica
The airsoft replica has adjustable HopUp, to access the adjustment, the slide must be removed, with the adjustment located under the HopUp chamber. The HopUp is of quality, providing the BB with a straight trajectory. The magazine can hold 22 rounds. It is recommended to use 0.20g BBs for optimal performance. The airsoft replica has a velocity of 100-105 meters per second with 0.20g BBs.
Power source
The airsoft replica operates on Green Gas, any other weaker or stronger gas can damage the internal mechanisms. For optimal performance, the airsoft replica should be operated in normal atmospheric conditions at temperatures above 15°C. With a gas fill, the airsoft replica cycles through the entire magazine and then locks the slide in the empty warning position. We recommend using quality consumables and not reusing BBs, as the replica may malfunction.
