AW Custom HX2202

Brief History

Developed by STI International in 2011, this pistol is designed to offer the public a modern version of the classic 1911. Among the advantages of the new model are; an increased magazine capacity, the caliber of the pistol reduced from 0.45 ACP (11.5mm) to 9mm, reduced recoil, and due to modern materials, a lighter weight. This model is successfully used by law enforcement as well as by the public for personal protection.

Exterior of the Replica

AW Custom HX2202 is constructed almost entirely from metal, with the grip made of plastic, and all the specific hi-capa elements are where they should be, with an active safety located on the grip and a hammer safety, characteristic of the classic 1911. 

At the bottom, the airsoft replica, like the real weapon, is equipped with a 22mm rail that can support a wide variety of accessories such as flashlights, lasers, and other tactical devices.

Interior of the Replica

The internal components are quite similar to those of the 1911, but unfortunately, they do not fit exactly. Therefore, we recommend using components specifically manufactured for the HiCapa model. The replica is equipped with an adjustable Hop-Up system accessible by disassembling the slide (the upper receiver). The adjustment is precise, and the final position remains fixed. The BB speed is approximately 95-100 meters per second, using 0.20g BBs. We recommend using quality BBs weighing 0.25g for optimal performance.

Power Supply

The airsoft replica operates with green gas. Under optimal temperature and operating conditions, the replica is capable of cycling the entire magazine with a gas fill, and upon emptying, it will lock the slide in the rear position.

For optimal performance, we recommend using high-quality consumables. Do not reuse BBs and do not use questionable quality consumables as it may cause malfunction.
