The Edge series offered by Specna Arms is a line of replicas that combine a series of solutions and technologies that are hard to find in other replicas on the market. It is a series that focuses on the exterior details, on solutions that improve the versatility of the replica, and extend its lifespan.

Exterior of the replica

Every element of the replica has been crafted with the utmost attention to detail. The body of the replica is made of aluminum alloys, enhancing its weight and strength. Licensed Rock Rover Arms markings as well as the Nano-Coating paint layer that prevents scratches are details that airsoft enthusiasts cannot overlook.

The handguard is made of metal and is covered with standard picatinny rails on all sides, allowing for a wide range of accessories. Specna Arms cares about their customers, so they have included a polymer vertical grip in the package, allowing for a firmer grip on the replica.

Interior of the replica

The internal mechanism will impress every player. Specna Arms equipped this series with an Orion Gearbox, secured with steel gears and a polycarbonate piston with full metal teeth. This gearbox can withstand springs up to 140 m/s.

Another important technical detail is the replica's inclusion of an X-ASR MOSFET that takes care of your replica's components, improves trigger response, and extends the battery and gearbox life.

Another impressive innovation worth mentioning is the ESA System (Easy Spring System). This option helps airsoft players easily replace the internal spring in a record time of 45 seconds without the need for special tools. All you have to do is unscrew a single screw from inside the stock tube, without having to disassemble the gearbox.

The replica has an inner barrel with a diameter of 6.03mm, providing high precision. The barrel works in tandem with a Rotary hop-up chamber allowing for precise and stable adjustment.

The Kestrel V2 Basic ETU from Eshooter is an advanced ETU system that offers ease of use, durability, and functionality. The programmable Kestrel V2 Basic works with both brushed and brushless motors in high-speed and high-torque configurations, increasing the replica's reliability and protecting internal parts in case of motor damage or battery consumption.

The functions of the Kestrel Basic system:

-5-stage programmable pre-cocking with piston position learning function.
(function requires a few individual shots after connecting the battery for calibration)
-Active braking. The replica performs a full cycle with each shot to avoid unnecessary overloads in the gearbox due to partial cycling.
-Locked Rotor Protection, the function protects the interior of the replica in case of motor damage.
-Battery discharge protection. Protection against battery discharge. The motor vibrates, the blue LED flashes five times, indicating battery discharge.
-Low/high voltage protection. The module detects the number of battery cells and adjusts operation for different cell numbers and voltages from 6V to 17V.

Power

The replica comes with two 125-round Mid-Cap S-MAG magazines, an M90 spring, and a vertical grip. The set does not include a battery or a battery charger. The replica is LiPo Ready straight from the factory, so you can use your preferred 7.4V or even 11.1V batteries. It is recommended to use only high-quality consumables for optimal performance. Reusing BBs or using low-quality consumables can damage the replica.
