LCT SR-3M

Brief History

The SR-3 Vikhr is a compact assault rifle chambered in 9x39mm designed by the TsNIITochMash institute in the early 1990s and entered production in 1994. This weapon is essentially an AS Val but without the integrated suppressor. Due to its relatively high cost compared to other weapons of the time, it was designated only for Special Operations Forces and certain government law enforcement agencies in Russia.

Exterior of the Replica

This airsoft replica is manufactured by LCT and represents the SR-3M model. It is a toy worthy of admiration with exceptional finishes and outstanding material quality. Noteworthy is the manufacturing and assembly method. The airsoft replica is coated with a specific machining oil, eliminating the risk of corrosion during transport while also providing an air of authenticity. All components are assembled with precision, eliminating play between parts; the sensation during operation is that of a solid, uncompromising body.

The body of the airsoft replica is made from thick stamped steel and magnesium alloy. At the front, under the handguard, there is a folding grip that can assist in controlling the replica. The joints of the airsoft replica are made from quality steel, contributing to good durability. The grip of the airsoft replica is made from durable ABS plastic. The stock of the replica is simplistic and folds to the side, making transport easier.

Interior of the Replica

Inside this replica, the heavy lifting is done by a version 3 metal gearbox equipped with premium components. The motor of the airsoft replica is High Torque, and the installed spring generates approximately 95 - 100 m/s using 0.20g BBs. The hop-up chamber is adjustable, and the inner barrel has a diameter of 6.08mm; once correctly set, the hop-up adjustment provides impressive range and grouping for the airsoft replica. The adjustment of the hop-up chamber is inside the ejection port, and to access it, simply operate the fake charging handle.

Power Supply

The package of the airsoft replica does not include a battery or a battery charger. You can use NIMH batteries of 8.4V or 9.6V mini stick type or 7.4V or 11.1V compact LiPo, which will be mounted above the outer barrel in the handguard. Do not exceed the voltage of 11.1V 20C as the toy may malfunction. Use quality BBs and do not reuse BBs; otherwise, the toy may malfunction.
