Product Description

Presentation

This Nimrod battery is a LiPo type and consists of 3 cells that make up an X3 crane assembly. It has a voltage of 11.1V and a capacity of 1000mAh. The battery's technology allows for very compact dimensions of the whole assembly, making it suitable for mounting in spaces with very limited battery size. The 25C discharge rate of the battery allows for optimal current supply for the replica's current requirements.

The battery's insulations are well-made and the cables and connectors are of high quality. This battery comes with a Small Tamiya connector.

ATTENTION:

  • Lithium-ion Polymer (LiPo) batteries can be extremely dangerous.
  • Users must take all precautionary measures for: potential fires, bodily harm, and property damage.
  • If used improperly, damaged, or with manufacturing defects, LiPo batteries can produce explosions, fires, smoke, and risk of intoxication.
  • By purchasing this type of battery, the user assumes responsibility for any risks associated with LiPo batteries.
  • LiPo batteries are not toys and should not be left within the reach of children as they can pose a real danger to their health.
  • LiPo batteries should not be thrown into fire, placed in an oven, or microwave as they can explode.
  • LiPo batteries contain/emits electrolytes, toxic fumes, and other harmful chemicals. Handle these batteries carefully and avoid, in any way, contact with the skin, eyes, or other parts of the body. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention immediately.
  • Do not attempt to charge mechanically or chemically damaged batteries.

Actions that lead to battery damage

  • Charging LiPo batteries with unbalanced chargers and without automatic charge cut-off.
  • Connecting in series or parallel a cell or another battery even if they seem similar.
  • Exceeding the maximum and minimum operating voltages.
  • A decrease or increase in temperature beyond the permissible limits.
  • Too high charging current.
  • Short-circuiting the battery poles.
  • Subjecting the battery to mechanical shocks such as dropping, hitting, bending, cutting, twisting, deforming, or puncturing.
  • Contact with liquids.
  • Improvise an inappropriate charging setup.
  • Using improper, improvised charging cables.

General information

  • LiPo batteries are composed of cells.
  • The parameters of this type of battery are: Voltage measured in Volts (V), Capacity measured in milliampere hours (mAh), and instant discharge rate (C).
  • Each LiPo battery has a power connector and a charging connector.
  • The power connector is used to power the device intended for power supply.
  • The charging connector is exclusively used for charging the battery. (in some cases, charging can be done through both the power and charging connector)
  • Charging the battery is done using the charging connector, and in some advanced chargers, connecting the power connector is also necessary.
  • LiPo batteries are charged with special chargers for LiPo batteries that have the function of balancing the voltage of each cell and automatically stopping the charging process.
  • Each LiPo battery has a maximum charging rate of 1.05X of the battery's capacity, which should not be exceeded during charging.
  • Each cell has a maximum voltage of 4.2V and a minimum voltage of 2.7V.
  • During operation or charging, the battery temperature should not drop below 0°C or rise above 50°C.
  • For long-term storage, the battery capacity should be between 15% and 25% of its maximum value.

Airsoft6 cannot guarantee that you have used correct methods for handling and followed the charging, discharging, or storage conditions of LiPo batteries. Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse the replacement, as a warranty, of batteries used incorrectly (that violate the above instructions and warnings) and we are not responsible for material damage, moral damages, or loss of human lives.
