Product Description
An important detail in the military field and beyond is footwear. The quality of the footwear directly influences the performance of the soldier. This aspect can also apply to actions meant to mimic military activities, such as long walks on unpaved roads or, why not, airsoft or paintball games. Often, these games take place in not-so-safe locations; former military units, institutions, or various abandoned buildings filled with dangers at every turn.
The Mil-Tec Gen. 2 tactical boots provide the necessary protection regardless of the situation. Even if the environmental temperature is high or low, these boots manage to maintain comfort for the lower limbs.
Exterior
The upper part is made equally of natural suede leather and 1200 den Nylon textile material to allow for good ventilation of the foot. The areas of maximum stress are made of natural suede leather to provide improved resistance against wear. The tongue of the boot is thick to absorb potential mechanical shocks and is glued to the sides of the boot at the bottom. At the front of the boot, there is a low-profile plastic section to protect the toes from frontal impacts, and the heel is also reinforced for protection. At the back of the ankle, there is a section for easier flexing. The sole is made from two types of materials to enhance comfort. The bottom layer is made of soft rubber, and immediately above it is made of foam. The sole is attached to the boot body through vulcanization.
Interior
The interior is lined with insulating material that maintains optimal comfort regardless of the external temperature. The insoles can be removed for cleaning. They are made of soft foam, improving comfort.
Functionality
The boots are secured on the foot with the help of laces. Each boot is equipped with 8 rows of eyelets for laces, of which the first 5 rows are reinforced eyelets with metal grommets, 2 rows with plastic rings for easy tightening of the lace, and the last row is a reinforced eyelet with a metal grommet.
The boot size according to the US measurement unit is Size 12, and according to the EU measurement unit, it is Size 45.
