Product Description
An important detail in the military field and beyond is footwear. The quality of the footwear directly influences the performance of the soldier. This aspect can also be valid in cases of actions meant to mimic military actions, such as long walks on unpaved roads or, why not, airsoft or paintball games. Often these games take place in not-so-safe locations; former military units, institutions, or various abandoned buildings filled with dangers at every turn.
The Gen. 2 Mil-Tec tactical boots provide the necessary protection regardless of the situation. Even if the environmental temperature is high or low, these boots manage to maintain comfort for the lower limbs.
Exterior
The upper part is made equally from suede leather and 1200 den nylon textile to allow for good ventilation of the foot. The areas of maximum stress are made from suede leather to provide improved resistance to wear. The tongue of the boot is thick to absorb potential mechanical shocks and is glued to the sides of the boot at the bottom. At the front of the boot, there is a low-profile plastic section to protect the toes against frontal impacts, and the heel is reinforced for protection. At the back of the ankle, there is a section for easier flexing. The sole is made from two types of materials to enhance comfort. The bottom layer is made of soft rubber while the upper part is made of foam. The sole is attached to the body of the boot through vulcanization.
Interior
The interior is lined with insulating material that maintains optimal comfort regardless of external temperature. The insoles can be removed for cleaning. They are made from soft foam, enhancing comfort.
Functionality
The boots are secured to the foot with the help of laces. Each boot is equipped with 8 rows of eyelets for laces, of which the first 5 rows are reinforced eyelets with metal grommets, 2 rows with plastic rings for easy tightening of the laces, and the last row is a reinforced eyelet with a metal grommet.
The boot size according to the US measurement system is Size 6 and according to the EU measurement system is Size 39.
