An important detail in the military field and beyond is footwear. The quality of footwear directly affects the performance of the soldier. This aspect can also be relevant in actions meant to mimic military actions, such as long walks on unpaved roads or, why not, airsoft or paintball games. Often, these games take place in locations that are not necessarily safe; former military units, institutions, or various abandoned buildings full of dangers at every step.

Mil-Tec boots offer the necessary protection regardless of the situation. Even if the temperature of the environment is high or low, these boots manage to keep the lower limbs comfortable.

Exterior

The upper part is made of carefully processed genuine leather. The front part is cut from a single piece of leather to avoid seams and joints that often weaken after use. The side surfaces of the boot and the tongue are made of quality textile material. It is woven nylon of 1200 denier. This material is included in the design to facilitate the evacuation of excessive heat generated inside the boots. The tongue is thick to absorb any mechanical shocks and is attached to the sides to prevent water and cold air from getting in. The sole is made of soft rubber and is vulcanized to the upper part.

Interior

One of the important aspects of this boot model is the insulation material used inside, namely Thinsulate. A material designed to maintain an optimal temperature regardless of weather conditions. The insoles can be removed for cleaning. They are made of soft foam, improving the comfort of the foot sole. In the front part and heel area of the boots, there are plastic reinforcements to prevent strong shocks that may affect the toes and heels.

Functionality

Each boot is secured on the foot with a lace and a YKK brand plastic zipper on the side. The boots are equipped with 9 rows of lace holes, the first 5 rows reinforced with metal eyelets and 4 rows with movable rings for easy tightening of the laces. The zipper is located on the inside of the boots, and to prevent water and cold air from entering, there is a leather section covering the zipper. At the top of the zipper, there is a leather section with Velcro for zipper protection.
