An important detail in the military field and beyond is footwear. The quality of footwear directly influences the performance of the soldier. This aspect can also apply to actions meant to replicate military actions, such as long walks on unpaved roads or, why not, airsoft or paintball games. Often these games take place in locations that are not exactly safe; former military units, institutions, or various abandoned buildings filled with dangers at every turn.

The Mil-Tec boots provide the necessary protection regardless of the situation. Even if the environmental temperature is high or low, these boots manage to maintain comfort for the lower limbs.

Exterior

The upper part is made of natural leather carefully processed. The front part is cut from a single piece of leather to avoid seams and joints that often give way after use. The lateral surfaces of the boot and the tongue are made from high-quality textile material. This is 1200 den braided nylon. This material is included in the design to promote the evacuation of excessive heat generated inside the boots. The tongue is thick to absorb potential mechanical shocks and is joined with the lateral sections to prevent the infiltration of water and cold air. The sole is made of soft rubber and is attached to the upper part through vulcanization.

Interior

One of the important aspects of this model of boots is the material used inside for insulation, namely Thinsulate. A material specially designed to maintain an optimal temperature regardless of weather conditions. The insoles can be removed for cleaning. They are made from soft foam, enhancing the comfort of the footbed. In the front part of the boots and in the heel area, there are plastic reinforcements to prevent strong shocks that could affect the toes and heel.

Functionality

Each boot is secured to the foot with the help of a lace and a side plastic zipper from YKK. The boots are equipped with 9 rows of eyelets for laces, of which the first 5 rows are reinforced with metal grommets and 4 rows with a movable ring for easy tightening of the laces. The zipper is located on the inside of the boots, and to prevent water and cold air from infiltrating, there is a leather section covering the zipper. At the top of the zipper, there is a leather section with Velcro for protecting the zipper.

The boot size according to the US measurement unit is Size 6 and according to the EU measurement unit is Size 39.
