An important detail in the military field, and not only, is represented by footwear. The quality of the footwear directly influences the performance of the military. This aspect can also be valid in actions meant to imitate military actions, such as long walks on unmade roads or, why not, airsoft or paintball games. Often, these games take place in locations that are not very safe; former military units, institutions, or various abandoned buildings full of dangers at every step.

Mil-Tec boots offer the necessary protection regardless of the situation. Even if the ambient temperature is high or low, these boots manage to maintain the comfort of the lower limbs.

Exterior

The upper part is made of genuine leather carefully processed. The front part is cut from a single piece of leather just to avoid seams and joints that often give way after use. The side surfaces of the boot and the tongue are made of quality textile material. It is a 1200 denier woven nylon. This material is included in the design to promote the evacuation of excessive heat generated inside the boots. The tongue is thick to absorb any mechanical shocks and is attached to the side sections to prevent water and cold air infiltration. The sole is made of soft rubber and is vulcanized to the upper part.

Interior

One of the important aspects of this boot model is the insulation material used inside, namely Thinsulate. A material designed to maintain an optimal temperature regardless of weather conditions. The insoles can be removed for cleaning. They are made of soft foam, improving the comfort of the foot sole. In the front part of the boots and in the heel area, there are plastic reinforcements to prevent strong shocks that can affect the toes and heel.

Functionality

Each boot is secured on the foot with the help of laces and a side plastic zipper branded YKK. The boots have 9 rows of lace holes, of which the first 5 rows are reinforced with metal eyelets and 4 rows with movable rings for easy tightening of the laces. The zipper is located on the inside of the boots, and to prevent water and cold air from entering, there is a leather section covering the zipper. At the top of the zipper, there is a leather section with velcro for zipper protection.

The size of the boot, according to the US measurement unit, is No.4, and according to the EU measurement unit, it is No.37.
