Brief History

The Ingram M11A1 or MAC-11 has been and will always be one of the most iconic SMGs of all time. MAC-11 stands for Military Armament Corporation Model 11, the American company responsible for designing and manufacturing this weapon since 1972. The M11 features a simple and robust design capable of withstanding the technological abuses it may encounter during operation. What has sparked interest in this platform from the beginning is the enormous rate of fire it offers to the user. This also results in the infamous issue of inaccuracy. An inexperienced hand can empty an entire magazine in just over 2 seconds, more or less in all directions. Proper use of this weapon requires discipline and trigger control.

Exterior of the Replica

This replica is manufactured by KWC. It is made of ABS plastic and metal, significantly reducing its weight. The magazine is made of metal, and the outer part of the barrel is made of metal and can accommodate the specific M11 suppressor designed for airsoft replicas. At the top, there is a cocking lever that can be rotated 90 degrees to function as a safety when the replica is unloaded and the nozzle is at the front. The sighting system is rudimentary but does its job well. To extend the stock, two actions are required: lowering the support by breaking it sideways and pressing the button underneath. To release the magazine, the lever under the grip must be activated. There is a safety in front of the trigger, and on the left front side, there is a semi/auto selector that can rotate 360 degrees.

Interior of the Replica

The internal mechanisms are made of durable metal. The blowback system is of the open bolt type, allowing for a very short trigger response and quick magazine changes, as well as an astonishing rate of fire. To prevent the replica from malfunctioning, it is necessary to follow the order of magazine replacement. When the BBs are finished, the bolt will remain fixed at the lip of the magazine. First, cock the lever, remove the empty magazine, insert the full magazine, and you're ready. It is not recommended to pull the trigger immediately after the BBs have run out. Using green gas, the replica generates a power of approximately 140-145 m/s using 0.20g BBs.

Power Supply

The replica operates with CO2 and can successfully function with the entire load at temperatures above 1°C. It is recommended to use high-quality BBs for optimal performance, and the reuse of BBs or the use of low-quality BBs is not advised.
