KJW KP-11

KJW is a manufacturer of airsoft replicas that has managed over the years to provide us with products that offer excellent value for money. In this case, we have the KP-11 model, based on the Hi-Capa platform. This model offers a large magazine, thus its autonomy will also be high. The combination of the plastic grip and the metal slide provides a low weight, an important aspect for Hi-Capa replicas, which tend to be very heavy compared to other pistol models.

Exterior of the replica

This manufactured toy is made by KJW mostly from metal. The lower part is made of ABS plastic while the slide is made of metal. The sighting system is fixed but correctly aligned, making aiming easy and precise. This toy replicates the safety elements specific to the 2011, namely; the safety behind the grip, which does not allow the hammer to be activated without a firm grip on the pistol, and the hammer safety, located above the grip on the left side.

Interior of the replica

Since this airsoft replica is based on the Hi-Capa platform, the internals are compatible with this series, greatly expanding the possibilities for upgrades and replacements if necessary. The Hop-Up is adjustable from inside the toy. Thus, to adjust it, the slide must be removed. Once adjusted, this Hop-Up remains constant and does not change position during use. The airsoft replica has a speed of approximately 100-105 meters per second measured with 0.20g BBs. We recommend using 0.25g BBs for optimal performance.

Power Source

The replica is delivered with a gas magazine, thus functioning correctly with green gas. In normal weather conditions at temperatures above 15°C with a gas charge, the toy can fire all the BBs from the magazine, and when they are finished, the slide is locked in the warning position of emptying the magazine.

A major advantage of the airsoft replica is the possibility of using standard CO2 magazines; the manufacturers KJW have designed the latest versions of this replica so that both gas and CO2 magazines can be used without additional pressure on the firing system. The speed will increase when using CO2, so great care should be taken with the game regulations to not exceed the safety speed.
