KJW KP-06 CO2

An exceptional airsoft replica based on the 2011 platform, which in turn originates from the classic 1911. This platform, unlike the previous model, features a magazine with an increased capacity by utilizing a zig-zag arrangement of the cartridges, reducing the caliber while increasing the dimensions of the grip and the chassis. The presented model closely resembles the pistol manufactured by STI, namely the STI Perfect 10. An imposing pistol that does not go unnoticed.

Exterior of the Replica

This toy is manufactured by KJW primarily from metal. Due to the Hi-Capa platform, the grip is made from high-quality ABS plastic. This contributes to reducing the weight, and in case of damage, this component can be easily replaced. The finishes of the airsoft replica are very good, with the outer barrel being chrome-plated and the paint applied to the other components being very durable. The rear sight is adjustable, and the use of luminescent tubes facilitates aiming in low-light conditions. This toy replicates the safety elements specific to the 2011, namely: the safety behind the grip, which prevents the hammer from being activated without a firm grip on the pistol, and the hammer safety in the cocked position, which is ambidextrous.

Interior of the Replica

Since this airsoft replica is based on the Hi-Capa platform, the internals are compatible with this series, greatly expanding the horizon of upgrade and replacement possibilities if necessary. The Hop-Up is adjustable from inside the toy. Thus, to adjust it, the slide must be removed. Once adjusted, this Hop-Up remains constant and does not change position during use. The airsoft replica has a speed of approximately 115 meters per second measured with 0.20g BBs. It is recommended to use 0.25g BBs for optimal performance.

Power Source

A significant advantage of the airsoft replica is the possibility of using standard CO2 magazines. The manufacturers KJW designed the latest versions of this replica so that both gas and CO2 can be used without additional pressure on the firing system. The speed will increase when using CO2, so be careful with the game rules to avoid exceeding the safety speed.

Periodically, the airsoft replica must be cleaned and lubricated according to the recommendations in the Service and Maintenance section. This way, the airsoft replica can function correctly for a long time.
