E&L ELS-74UN Essential

Short History

The AK74 is an assault rifle manufactured in the early 1970s by the Soviet arms designer Mikhail Kalashnikov. The rifle first entered service with the Soviet forces in the conflict in Afghanistan in 1979. The manufacturer E&L, currently producing accessories for real firearms, managed to capture the essence of the AK in this wonderful airsoft replica.

Exterior of the Replica

The exterior design is already well-known, as it has been used in many movies, TV shows, and video games. According to military specifications, the ELS-74N replica is a 1:1 copy of the AK74, from the materials used down to the weight. The body, stock, and trigger of the replica are made of steel, while the magazine and handle are made of ABS plastic. For added realism in handling this replica, the handguard is made of authentic wood. The replica is weighted and balanced just like a real firearm, providing players with a high level of realism.

To ensure a comfortable position even in tight spaces on the playing field, the stock can be folded to the left side. The replica is covered with a specific protective oil, which safeguards the product during transport against moisture and other impurities. The combination of oil and steel emits a unique scent that is familiar to true airsoft players.

Interior of the Replica

When it comes to the internals of an E&L AK replica, things are better than expected. The hard work is done by the reinforced V3 gearbox, built to the highest standards, with 9mm bearings. The pneumatic system consists of a set made up of a silent piston and cylinder head, which extend the system's lifespan. To focus your attention on hitting targets rather than handling the weapon, the manufacturer has equipped this rifle with a quick spring change system. The replica's high precision is achieved by the inner barrel with a diameter of 6.04 mm. The muzzle velocity is 115-120m/s, measured with 0.20g BBs.

Powering

The replica comes with a 150-round plastic ABS Mid-Cap magazine, oil reservoir, and Magwell spacer. Batteries and a charger are not included. LiPo batteries of 7.4-11.1V can be used. To ensure the replica operates at its maximum potential, only high-quality consumables should be used.
