Umarex UMP Sportsline

Brief History

Designed in the 1990s and entering service in 2000, the UMP represented a cost-effective alternative to the MP5 platform. Utilizing a large amount of polymer (plastic), this weapon was specifically designed for law enforcement in America, chambered in .45 ACP. A preferred caliber and thus popular in the USA. Ultimately, the UMP platform did not manage to replace the MP5, but it has still been recognized internationally as an excellent weapon for urban environments.

Exterior of the Replica

This airsoft replica manufactured by Umarex mirrors the UMP model. Similar to the real firearm, the presented airsoft replica is primarily made of plastic. It is made of durable and lightweight ABS plastic. Certain important connection elements such as the external barrel support or stock attachment are made of metal.
The replica is equipped with an adjustable, integrated sighting system that can be removed if necessary, allowing full use of the large upper rail.
At the front, there are 3 standard rails that allow the airsoft replica to be accessorized with a grip or flashlight or perhaps a tactical laser. At the front of the rail and above the grip on the left side, there are holes that allow for the mounting of a sling attachment system for the airsoft replica. The mag catch is located in the center of the replica under the trigger guard. The selector is ambidextrous and features 3 positions: SAFE - SEMI - AUTO.
The stock of the airsoft replica folds to the right and locks firmly in position. The back of the stock is covered with soft rubber to improve grip during operation.

Interior of the Replica

Inside the toy, there is a standard Version 3 metal gearbox, with good upgrade possibilities. The hop-up chamber is made of plastic and is adjustable. The adjustment is easy and once set, it stays in position. For hop-up adjustment, the cocking lever located at the top must be operated. The inner barrel has a standard diameter of 6.08 mm, but in combination with the adjustable hop-up, it allows for hitting targets at a considerable distance. The airsoft replica has a ball speed of approximately 95-100 meters per second, measured with 0.20g BBs.

Power Supply

The replica is delivered with a hicap magazine of 420 rounds of 6mm. To operate it, you will also need a battery, preferably a LiPo of 7.4V 1200mAh and a charger for this battery. Don't forget to add these items to your shopping cart. Do not use batteries larger than 9.6V as the replica may malfunction. We recommend using high-quality BBs and do not recommend reusing them or using low-quality BBs as they can lead to damage to the replica.
