Product Description
Brief History
Developed in 1986 for the U.S. Navy, the MP5 Navy is a compact, robust, and precise submachine gun. Built on the famous MP5 platform, it is used and appreciated worldwide for its reliability and maneuverability, making it the perfect choice in confined spaces.
Exterior of the Replica
The airsoft replica MP5 Navy is constructed very similarly to the real firearm, with the upper body made of metal and the lower part, stock, and handguard made of ABS plastic. The components are joined by pins, similar to the real weapon. Thus, accessing the gearbox or the hop-up assembly requires the removal of just 2 pins.
Interior of the Replica
The airsoft replica comes factory-equipped with a precision barrel with a diameter of 6.04mm, which significantly contributes to accuracy. The grouping and consistency of the BBs are very good. The Hop-Up adjustment is located in the ejection port of the airsoft replica, revealed by operating the cocking lever.
The gearbox is a version 2 made of metal, as are the gears and bushings. The piston, piston head, and cylinder head are made of polycarbonate. The motor is a High Torque capable of compressing fairly strong springs.
The airsoft replica has a velocity of approximately 115-120 meters per second measured with 0.20g BBs. It is recommended to use 0.25g BBs for optimal performance.
Power Supply
The package includes an 8.4V 1200mAh Ni-Mh battery located in the handguard. To access the battery compartment, it is sufficient to remove one front pin. To take advantage of the battery space, a Li-Po battery no larger than 7.4V and 2200mAh in a rectangular shape can be used. The maximum allowable voltage should not exceed 9.6V, as it may damage the internals of the gearbox.
