Product Description
Brief History
Designed in 1994 and shortly thereafter entering the market, this AK 105 is derived from the AK 74 model with some modifications. The gas tube is at a 90-degree angle, and the front and rear attachments of the mechanisms have also been modified. Instead of wood, synthetic resins have been used, thus lightening the weapon. Therefore, this weapon, with its reduced weight and improved mechanism, achieves good accuracy and reliability, keeping up with the competition of modern era firearms.
Exterior of the Replica
The airsoft replica manufactured by CYMA manages to closely mimic the original AK 105 model. The exterior of the replica is not extremely well-finished but manages to spark interest due to its weight and the predominance of metal on the surface of the replica. The only plastic element is the grip. Admittedly, the replica is slightly heavy at the front, but this is not a new issue among AKs and should not be a hindrance for AK enthusiasts.
The stock of the replica is collapsible, allowing for much more comfortable use.
Interior of the Replica
Inside the replica, there is a standard Version 3 gearbox, so the upgrade possibilities are very good and above. It is made from quality materials, providing reliability over time. The inner barrel is made of quality brass, and the hop-up system is adjustable. It is possible that the inner barrel may need cleaning before first use. The speed of the replica is quite high, approximately 125-130m/s using 0.20g BBs. The effective range of the replica is impressive.
Power Supply
The replica can be powered with a maximum of 9.6V NIMH or 7.4V Lipo batteries. Any higher voltage may damage the replica. It is recommended to use quality BBs. Do not reuse BBs and do not use low-quality BBs as the replica may suffer damage.
