Overview
One of the models of the famous MP5 built by Heckler & Koch, the MP5-A4 is equipped with one of the latest Trigger Group models. What differentiates this trigger group from others is its multiple firing capabilities. The classic SEF icons, meaning Safe, Semi, Auto, have all been replaced with bullet symbols for better understanding of the functions.
Exterior of the Replica
The airsoft replica stands out primarily due to the RIS front, which allows for a multitude of accessories to be mounted; tactical flashlights, lasers, grips of all kinds and sizes, and many more. The body of the airsoft replica is constructed from metal, monobloc, similar to the real weapon. The main disassembly of the airsoft replica is done by removing 2 pins. The stock and the lower part of the toy are made from ABS plastic.
Interior of the Replica
The airsoft replica comes factory-equipped with a precision barrel with a diameter of 6.04mm, which significantly contributes to accuracy. The grouping and consistency of the BBs is very good. The Hop-Up adjustment is located in the ejector port of the airsoft replica, revealed by operating the cocking lever.
The gearbox is a version 2 made of metal, as are the gears and bushings. The piston, piston head, and cylinder head are made from polycarbonate. The motor is a High Torque type capable of compressing quite strong springs.
Power Supply
The package includes an 8.4V 1200mAh Ni-Mh battery that is mounted in the stock of the airsoft replica. To access the battery, the rubber support at the back of the stock must be removed by sliding it off. It is recommended to use a Large Ni-Mh battery no larger than 9.6V and 4000mAh or a Li-Po battery no larger than 7.4V and 3000mAh. For proper functioning, it is not recommended to use a battery larger than 9.6V.
