This replica manufactured by Cyma initially presents an authentic Berterra, but upon first contact, we realize that something is not quite as we expected. This is due to the fact that it is an electric functioning pistol. Instead of internal mechanisms and gas storage compartments, there is a miniature electric gearbox capable of propelling the BBs from the replica in both semi-automatic and fully automatic modes.

Exterior of the replica

The exterior of the airsoft replica is made from quality ABS plastic and metal for the slide. This pistol is capable of firing both semi-automatic and automatic. The fire selector is located where the decocking button would normally be found on a real pistol or gas-operated replicas. The slide of the pistol does not move in any way. It serves as a cover for the internals. To remove the slide, the button that normally serves as the Slide-Catch (above the grip, top right) must be pressed, after which the slide can be easily removed forward and upward.
The pistol is equipped with a safety system. To activate it, the lever used for disassembling the slide on a real firearm must be rotated counterclockwise (above the trigger).

Be careful, the width of the pistol is greater than that of gas-operated pistols. A universal or adjustable holster is recommended. Additionally, the width of the front rail is greater than 22mm.

The magazine of the pistol is small and slim, unrealistic in shape. Its advantage is the large storage capacity for BBs. 30 BBs of 6mm. The 100 BB magazine designed for the Glock 18C is compatible with this model.

Interior of the replica

Once the slide is removed, we can observe the space designated for the battery, the mosfet, and the mechanism for easy installation/removal of the battery as well as the hop-up adjustment. The airsoft replica is equipped with an adjustable hop-up system, thus increasing the effective range despite the low speed of 50-55m/s measured with 0.20g BBs. Of course, it is recommended to use 0.20g BBs for optimal performance.

Power Supply

The package of the airsoft replica includes a 7.4V and 450 mAh LI-Po battery as well as a charger intended for charging it. It is recommended to use only quality batteries intended for AEP type replicas.
