Brief History

It was originally designed for the Italian army and law enforcement to replace the M951 model. It entered production in 1976, starting its use in Italy, and gradually its use expanded worldwide. The American army adopted the Beretta M92 SB-F, later named M92F due to excellent results in the XM9 tests aimed at selecting the most reliable pistol. Over time, the Beretta M92 has undergone several modifications to its mechanisms and shape due to requirements.

Description

This airsoft replica manufactured by Umarex initially presents an authentic Beretta M9, but upon first contact, we realize that something is not quite as we expected. This is due to the fact that it is an electric-operated pistol. Instead of internal mechanisms and gas storage compartments, there is a miniature electric gearbox capable of propelling the BBs from the replica in both semi-automatic and automatic fire modes.

Exterior of the Replica

The exterior of the airsoft replica is constructed from ABS plastic and metal. The slide is made of metal. The surface has enhanced grip due to the matte finish. The fire selector is actually the safety lever with 3 positions: safe, semi, and auto. The pistol's magazine is small and thin, which is totally unrealistic, but has a significant advantage: it can hold 30 6mm BBs.

Interior of the Replica

The replica is equipped with a fixed hop-up system, and it is recommended to use 0.20g BBs for optimal performance.

Power Supply

The replica is powered by an internal battery that can be charged using the charger included in the package. To charge the battery, it is necessary to remove the BB magazine, and we can connect the charger using the JST connector.
