Product Description
Brief History
Designed in 1994 and shortly entering the market, this AK 105 is derived from the AK 74 model but with minor modifications. The gas recovery tube is at a 90-degree angle, and the front and rear mounts of the mechanisms have also been modified. Instead of wood, synthetic resins have been used, thus lightening the weapon. Therefore, this weapon, with its reduced weight and improved mechanism, offers good accuracy and reliability, managing to keep up with the competition of modern era firearms.
Exterior of the Replica
The airsoft replica manufactured by CYMA successfully mimics the original AK 105 model. The exterior of the replica is not extremely well-finished but manages to attract interest due to its weight and the predominance of metal on the surface of the replica. The only plastic element is the grip. Admittedly, the replica is slightly heavy at the front, but this is not a new issue among AKs and should not pose a problem for AK enthusiasts.
Interior of the Replica
Inside the replica, there is a standard version 3 gearbox, thus upgrade possibilities are very good and beyond. It is made from quality materials, ensuring reliability over time. The inner barrel is made of quality brass, and the hop-up system is adjustable. There is a possibility that the inner barrel may require cleaning before first use. The replica's velocity is quite high, approximately 115-120m/s using 0.20g BBs. The effective range of the replica is impressive.
Power Supply
The replica can be powered with batteries of up to 9.6V NIMH or 7.4V Lipo. Any higher voltage may damage the replica. It is recommended to use quality BBs. Do not reuse BBs and do not use low-quality BBs as the replica may suffer.
