Presentation

We are pleased to present a modernized replica of the classic AK-47. At its core, this replica is based on an AK 105 platform, which has been fitted with standard rails at the front for better accessorization and an ambidextrous charging handle. Admittedly, this combination of M4 and AK does not look bad at all. Many might consider it blasphemy, but others are thrilled by the modern flair offered by this platform.

Exterior of the replica

The model of the replica is called CM.040N, and as we have learned from the gentlemen at Cyma, the exterior of the replica is not extremely well-finished but manages to spark interest due to its weight and the predominance of metal on the surface of the replica. The only plastic element is the grip. Admittedly, the replica is slightly heavy at the front, but this is not a new issue among AKs and should not pose a hindrance for AK enthusiasts.

The rail system, both the lower and upper, is well anchored to the outer barrel, with very little to no play between these components. The charging handle is ambidextrous, making it easier to adjust the hop-up adjustment during action.

The stock of the replica is collapsible, allowing for much more comfortable handling.

Interior of the replica

Inside the replica, there is a standard version 3 gearbox, so the upgrade possibilities are very good and above. It is made from quality materials, providing reliability over time. The inner barrel is made of quality brass, and the hop-up system is adjustable. There is a possibility that the inner barrel may require cleaning before the first use. The speed of the replica is quite high, approximately 115-120m/s using 0.20g BBs. The effective range of the replica is impressive.

Power supply

The replica can be powered with a maximum of 9.6V NIMH or 7.4V Lipo batteries. Any higher voltage may damage the replica. It is recommended to use quality BBs. Do not reuse BBs and do not use low-quality BBs as the replica may suffer.
