Brief History

The Taurus pistols are manufactured in Brazil by Forjas Taurus SA. The first models closely copied the Beretta M92 platform, but over time they made slight improvements in functionality and reliability. What attracted the public significantly is the lower price compared to the original Beretta products and good reliability. A clearly different aspect from the Beretta platforms is the ambidextrous safety, which is no longer located at the top of the slide and is moved lower at the back of the grip.

Exterior of the Replica

The replica is manufactured by Cybergun and mimics the Taurus PT92 model. The body of the pistol is made of metal. At the front, there is a standard rail that allows for good accessorizing.

Interior of the Replica

To operate, the replica does not require gas, CO2, electricity, heat, impact, or other external power sources. Cocking it is done manually, a process that loads the BB and tensions the internal spring that will generate the airflow necessary for expelling the BBs. The simple system allows the replica to be used in almost any climatic environment. Low/high temperatures, extreme humidity, and so on. The speed of the replica is approximately 65-70 m/s measured with 0.20g BBs.

Power Supply

The replica is delivered with a low-cap magazine of 12 BBs. We recommend using BBs weighing between 0.12 and 0.20g for optimal performance. Do not reuse BBs and do not use low-quality BBs as the replica may malfunction.
