Product Description
Brief History
The Sig Sauer P226 X-Five model was launched in 2013 and was intended for sport shooting; thus, specialists designed this platform to offer very good accuracy. The resemblance to the well-known classic P226 is evident, although the controls are slightly modified.
Exterior of the Replica
Marketed by Cybergun, the SIG P226 X-Five accurately replicates the real pistol. It is primarily made of metal, respecting the functions of the real weapon. At the back, similar to the 1911 platform, there is an ambidextrous thumb safety. The pistol is of the Double Action type, meaning that when the trigger is pulled, the hammer of the replica is cocked and then released, triggering the firing mechanism.
Internals of the Replica
The airsoft replica features an adjustable HopUp; to access the adjustment, the slide must be removed, with the adjustment located under the HopUp chamber. The HopUp is metal, providing the BB with a straight and stable trajectory. The magazine can hold 27 BBs. It is recommended to use 0.25g BBs for optimal performance. The airsoft replica has a velocity of 100-105 meters per second measured with 0.20g BBs.
Power Source
The airsoft replica operates on CO2. Given that it functions on CO2, the replica can also be used in cooler weather. One CO2 cartridge can power up to 2 reloads with BBs, and at the end, it locks the slide in a warning position for an empty magazine.
Attention: It is recommended to spray a small amount of silicone oil on the contact seal surface before installing a new CO2 cartridge. It is not advisable to store the CO2 cartridge in the airsoft replica; after each use, even if the cartridge is not empty, it should be removed to protect the seals.
