ASCU or more broadly Airsoft Smart Control Unit is fundamentally an advanced MOSFET capable of providing electric airsoft replicas with enhanced control and reliability. How does this MOSFET manage to offer this added comfort and reliability? By replacing the entire electrical system.

Starting from the beginning, this control unit establishes the connection between the consumer and the power source as safely as possible. Let’s analyze the processes that are improved.

The classic contact made of brass blades is replaced with a micro switch that activates a series of high-power MOSFETs, eliminating the current loss generated by the closure of the classic contact.

The classic interruption module generating the semi-auto function, composed of a cut-off lever and a moving carbon brush, has also been replaced with a micro switch capable of sensing the slightest movement of the cut-off lever, thus indicating that it is time for the assembly to stop.

With the installation of the ASCU unit, the replica no longer needs a travel distance of 4-6 mm to complete the operating cycle; 1-2 mm is sufficient to command the control unit, providing enhanced control and comfort to the user. Regardless of how quickly the trigger is pulled, the gearbox will complete a full cycle and then stop.

Due to the "fine" control of the commands, the gearbox is capable of operating within optimal parameters. The sector gear will stop exactly in the position it needs to be, thanks to the active braking feature of the module. To be fair, this MOSFET requires powerful motors to function correctly, specifically to brake the entire assembly effectively.

With the installation of the ASCU unit, an anti-reverse is no longer necessary. Thanks to active braking, the piston will remain at its furthest point with each shot, keeping the spring in optimal conditions and eliminating the risk of the gearbox being left under tension. The trigger safety is also no longer required.

Once the battery no longer has sufficient voltage to operate the ASCU gearbox, it cuts off the power supply to prevent battery damage. If something malfunctions inside the gearbox and the ASCU detects an increase in load, it also cuts off the power supply to prevent more severe damage.

The ASCU control unit can be programmed to offer different firing modes based on needs.
