Overview

Ares is a relatively young company in the airsoft field, yet it offers high-quality products and services at an advantageous price. The platforms manufactured by ARES successfully replicate a wide range of real firearms. The most coveted platform of our century remains the M4. This platform has been thought, rethought, twisted, and turned by all airsoft replica manufacturers in an attempt to achieve maximum performance from its design. Exterior of the Replica

This replica is model 008 and, like other Amoeba models, is made from plastic. This is not a bad thing, as it significantly reduces the overall weight of the replica. The front rail system is also made from plastic, further decreasing the weight of the replica. The grip and stock of the replica are made from ABS plastic. The stock tube is made from metal, as is the mounting system for the outer barrel. The stock is adjustable, and it houses the battery inside. The rear cap can be easily removed by pressing a button. The replica is equipped with a classic adjustable sighting system. The magazine release button is enlarged for easy access. The fire selector is located on the left side.

Interior of the Replica

The replica's gearbox resembles version 2, but the similarity ends there. The entire gearbox is managed by an electronic unit. This electronic unit ensures the proper functioning of the replica. It is equipped with Mosfet, Active breaking, Soft start and, most importantly, can be set to operate in one of the semi, burst, or auto modes on the fire selector positions. This modification can only be performed with a special device that is not included in the package. The gears are made from steel, and the piston is reinforced. The main mechanical components are standard, allowing for upgrades. Ares has equipped this toy with the ability to quickly replace the spring without removing the gearbox, just the stock tube. The replica's motor is a high torque one, capable of compressing fairly strong springs. Thanks to the electronic control system, the trigger response is very good.

Power Supply

The package does not include a battery and battery charger. Upon purchasing the replica, we recommend that you look for a suitable battery and charger. The replica can operate with 8.4-9.6V NiMh or 7.4-11.1V LiPo. It is recommended that the battery shape be crane. The use of 0.25g BBs is recommended for optimal performance, and do not reuse BBs.
