Product Description
APS XTP Shark, this is the name of the replica in question and no, it is not a Glock. It resembles one but does not sprout, as the saying goes. It is manufactured by APS and is designed to provide the advantages of a CO2-operated replica while delivering the performance of a gas-operated replica. This means it can be used in low temperatures and the projectile can achieve normal speeds for airsoft games. The XTP model, compared to previous series, comes with a significant advantage. It is capable of firing in full auto.
Exterior of the Replica
The outer casing is made of metal and features textured sections for easy cocking. The sights are fixed but properly aligned. On the right side, there is an ambidextrous slide catch and mag catch. The fire selector is located above the thumb on the left side. The safety is above the trigger guard and is ambidextrous. The lower part is made of ABS plastic. At the front, there is a standard Picatinny rail for mounting tactical accessories. The grip is textured to enhance maneuverability.
Interior of the Replica
The internal mechanisms are designed to utilize CO2 as a propulsion source. The striking mechanism and outer barrel are made of metal. The replica is equipped with an adjustable hop-up system, allowing for superior effective range. The replica is capable of firing 0.20g BBs at a velocity of 100-105 m/s.
Power Supply
As previously mentioned, this replica operates on CO2. The space for the CO2 cartridges is located in the magazine of the replica. The installation of the CO2 cartridge is atypical compared to most conventional magazines, as the head of the cartridge is positioned downwards. The puncturing of the cartridge occurs in two stages, and it is absolutely necessary to strictly follow the instructions in the manual. It is recommended to use high-quality BBs weighing 0.25g and not to reuse BBs or use inferior quality BBs, as this may cause the replica to malfunction.
