Presentation
APS Limited, or more broadly Accuracy Pneumatics Shooting, was founded in 2001 and initially focused on the development and manufacturing of training equipment such as markers and specialized ammunition for these markers. Over time, APS has also developed its airsoft branch, producing airsoft replicas and accessories.
The presented replica is part of the PER series, specifically the Phantom Extremis MK1 model. This airsoft replica is recommended for CQB. Its design is both beautiful and innovative, while also being practical, allowing for good customization and easy handling.
Exterior of the Replica
The Phantom Extremis MK1 airsoft replica is primarily made from metal alloys, contributing to its lightweight design, which enhances maneuverability. The front features a modular rail system. There is a standard rail along the entire top of the airsoft replica, allowing for the mounting of almost any type of advanced sighting device; red-dot sights, scopes, and more. This airsoft replica is also equipped with a classic foldable sighting system. The plastic elements of this toy include the motor grip and stock. The stock of this replica is quite unique, a new model offered by APS designed to provide an appealing look as well as utility. Both the fire selector and mag catch are ambidextrous, allowing for easy handling even by left-handed players.

The action is powered by an APS version 2 gearbox. At first glance, it appears to be a standard V2 gearbox, as the gears, piston, spring, and other small components are indeed standard; however, the casing has been slightly modified to allow for the installation of a blowback system and to facilitate the removal of the guide without disassembling the replica. This makes the operation of replacing the spring or servicing the gearbox much easier.
When the hop-up adjustment is correctly adjusted, the effective range will be superior. It should be noted that there may be traces of grease inside the hop-up chamber and the inner barrel; we recommend careful cleaning of the hop-up assembly. This airsoft replica is equipped with an active bolt catch. Once the cocking lever is activated, the protective cover of the ejector port will remain open until the bolt catch is engaged, greatly facilitating the adjustment of the hop-up adjustment. The speed of the airsoft replica is approximately 115-120 m/s measured with 0.20g BBs. For optimal performance, 0.25g BBs are recommended.
Power Supply
With the purchase of the airsoft replica, it is recommended to acquire a LiPo battery with a maximum of 7.4V that can fit in the stock, or a NiMh battery no larger than 9.6V. Any higher voltage may severely damage the toy. It is recommended to use high-quality BBs for optimal performance and to ensure the proper functioning of the airsoft replica.
