The rifle Accuracy International Arctic Warfare or simply L96 was designed and manufactured by the English company Accuracy International since the 1980s to replace the Lee-Enfield, which had become too outdated compared to existing technology. The weapon itself is designed to operate in extreme cold temperature areas. The original model, named L96A1, has undergone improvements over time, changing its name to AW or Arctic Warfare. This rifle easily impressed users, quickly gaining appreciation among law enforcement forces due to its precision and reliability.

Description

This airsoft replica is fundamentally a sniper rifle based on elements from several existing platforms. The receiver resembles those of hunting rifles, the barrel is similar to military ones, and the body features a modern and innovative design. Its design aims to provide good maneuverability and stability during operation. The firing system and the barrel itself tend to mimic the series based on the famous L96 or Arctic Warfare, but the resemblance stops here. Let's delve into the details.

Exterior of the Replica

The replica has a body made of quality ABS plastic and is secured with screws both between panels and in the receiver. The outer barrel and receiver or cylinder support are made of metal. The replica has a balanced weight due to the well-balanced stock. The body shape is extremely comfortable in most shooting positions. On the upper part of the body, there is a rail on which the scope is mounted, and on the lower front part, the bipod is attached, providing the replica with ideal stability.

Interior of the Replica

To operate, the replica does not require gas, CO2, electric current, heat, impact, or other external power sources. Its cocking is done manually, which feeds the BB and tensions the internal spring that will generate the airflow necessary for expelling the respective BB. The simple system allows the replica to be used in almost any climatic conditions. The mechanism of the replica or trigger box is made of ABS and successfully withstands the included spring. The piston and spring guide are made of polycarbonate. The speed of the replica is approximately 120-125 m/s or 1.4j - 1.5j measured with 0.20g BBs. Considering the speed, we recommend using BBs weighing 0.3g or 0.36g.

The replica is delivered disassembled, and the package includes all the necessary tools for its assembly and accessories. It is important not to rush the assembly process as you risk damaging the threads. Avoid excessive disassembly and reassembly of the replica as this process can jeopardize the integrity of the threads. The package includes the replica, a cleaning rod, a tactical sling, a BB feeder, and a magazine with a capacity of 40 6mm BBs. It is recommended to use high-quality BBs for optimal performance.
