WE XDM 3.8 Desert

Presentation

XDM or X-Treme Duty Match grade is a pistol manufactured in Croatia since 2006 by "HS Produkt". In America, it is known as the Springfield Armory XD. It is designed to provide championship-level shooting performance while maintaining relatively low costs. Shortly after its market introduction, it was adopted by law enforcement agencies worldwide. In 2009, it won the title of Pistol of the Year due to its remarkable performance. 

Exterior of the Replica

This replica represents the short version of the XDM platform, 3.8, allowing for a smaller profile that can be transported more easily. The lower part of the replica is made from ABS plastic, while the slide and outer barrel are made from solid aluminum. There are multiple safety systems in place. Behind the grip, there is a safety similar to that of the 1911 platforms. There is a safety directly on the trigger, and for situations where the airsoft replica needs to be stored, there is an additional safety at the front. The slide release button and disassembly button are located on the left side, while the magazine release button is ambidextrous. An interesting feature is the internal mechanism cocking indicator positioned behind the slide. The magazine is made of chrome-plated metal. The length of the pistol is 171mm.

Interior of the Replica

The internal components of the airsoft replica are made from quality metals, well-finished. The hop-up chamber allows for adjustment of the hop level, significantly improving the replica's range. To adjust the hop-up, the slide must be removed. It should be noted that the airsoft replica has very good accuracy. The velocity is approximately 80-85 meters per second measured with 0.20g BBs. It is recommended to use 0.20g BBs for optimal performance. This platform also supports the full version of the XDM magazine, but we recommend using it together with the grip extension adapter.

Power Supply

The airsoft replica operates with green gas stored inside the magazine. It is not recommended to use a weaker gas as it may affect the replica's performance. Under normal atmospheric conditions at temperatures above 15°C, a gas charge is capable of firing all 26 BBs from the magazine and eventually locking the slide in the "empty magazine" position. It is recommended to use quality BBs to avoid mechanical issues.
