Product Description
Brief History
Created to replace the well-known 1911, it was presented to the decision-making committee in 1984 and ranked second in popularity. Due to financial reasons, its adoption was delayed for several years until the Navy SEALS requested its introduction into service. A solid pistol built for intense use on the battlefield. A useful feature is the ability to safely decock the pistol without the risk of accidental discharge by using the special decocking lever.
Exterior of the Replica
Manufactured by WE P226 curately copies the real pistol. It is made almost entirely of quality metal, respecting the functions of the real weapon. One example is the decocking function. If the airsoft replica is cocked but you no longer want to shoot, you can use your thumb to activate the decocking button, bringing the airsoft replica to a safe state. The pistol is of the Double Action type, meaning that when the trigger is pulled, the hammer of the replica is cocked and then released, triggering the firing mechanism. The pistol weighs 930g, which is 34g lighter than the real pistol, thus adding a touch of realism to the airsoft replica.
Internals of the Replica
The airsoft replica features aHopUp that is adjustable; to access the adjustment, the slide must be removed, with the adjustment located under the HopUp chamber. The HopUp is of high quality, providing the BB with a straight trajectory. The magazine can hold 26 BBs. It is recommended to use 0.20g BBs for optimal performance. The airsoft replica has a velocity of 90-95 meters per second with 0.20g BBs.
Power Source
The airsoft replica operates onGreen Gas; any weaker or stronger gas may damage the internal mechanisms. For optimal performance, the airsoft replica should be used in normal atmospheric conditions at temperatures above 15' C. With a gas fill, the airsoft replica cycles the entire magazine and, at the end, locks the slide in the warning position for empty magazines. We recommend using quality consumables and not reusing BBs as this may cause the replica to malfunction.
