Product Description
Brief History
Developed by STI International in 2011, this pistol is designed to provide the public with a modern version of the classic 1911. Among the advantages of the new model are; an increased magazine capacity, the caliber of the pistol reduced from 0.45 ACP (11.5mm) to 9mm, reduced recoil, and due to modern materials, a lighter weight. This model is successfully used by law enforcement as well as by the public for personal protection.
Exterior of the Replica
This exceptional Hi-Capa platform, manufactured by WE, is constructed entirely from metal, and all the specific elements of this platform are where they should be, with an active safety on the grip and a hammer safety, characteristic of the classic 1911. The design of this pistol is quite modular compared to other platforms on the market. If any major part is damaged, it can be replaced relatively easily.
At the bottom, the airsoft replica, like the real weapon, is equipped with a 22 mm rail that can support a wide variety of accessories such as flashlights, lasers, and other tactical devices.
Interior of the Replica
The internal components are quite similar to those of the 1911 but unfortunately do not fit exactly. Therefore, it is recommended to use components specifically manufactured for the Hi-Capa model. The quality of the internal components is good. The airsoft replica is equipped with a Hop-Up adjustment system accessible by disassembling the slide (the upper receiver). The adjustment is precise, and the final position remains fixed. The BB speed is approximately 85-90 meters per second using 0.20g BBs. It is recommended to use quality BBs weighing 0.20g for optimal performance.
Power Source
The airsoft replica operates optimally with green gas. Under optimal temperature and operating conditions, the replica is capable of utilizing the entire magazine with a single gas fill.
Maximum performance is achieved at ambient temperatures above 15°C. The airsoft replica should be cleaned and lubricated periodically according to the recommendations in the Service and Maintenance section.
